Quick breakfast fixes in the kitchen
Do you want to serve your family something different for breakfast other than cereal? You can create quick breakfasts with a little preparation in your spare time.
In the evenings, when you are cooking dinner, get out a skillet and chop up some onions, bell peppers and any other veggies that you would like to throw into an omelet. Store cooked veggies in a sealed storage container for future use.
You can do the same thing with potatoes. The next time you are preparing mashed potatoes, set some potatoes on the side. While cooking supper, just chop up the reserved potatoes into a skillet and cook until tender. Again, store in a sealed container until you are ready to serve as hash browns to your family.
All veggies can be frozen. Do you see how easy it is to prepare good, hearty breakfast-time meals for your family? With a little preparation and imagination, you can expand your breakfast menu without expanding your need for time in the morning.
